The Architect’s Villa is a light and spacious holiday villa where the boundary between in and out melts. The transparency of glass, the metal structures and massive stone blocks create tensions and interesting spaces.
The Architect’s Villa consists of three stone volumes, connected to each other with steel-glass elements. Its floor-to-ceiling windows and metal details are its unique characteristics. The first volume consists of two Master Bedrooms on two different levels, each with its own private bathroom. The second volume holds a spacious living room with a fireplace on the first floor and two Junior Bedrooms, a shared bathroom and a playroom for children on a ground floor. The kitchen takes the third volume which connects to the dining area where all volumes merge into one. While The Architect’s Villa is designed in dialogue with traditional Mani architecture, it has yet an absolutely modern feeling.
