Architecture

Casa Antica was rebuilt in 2012 and awarded as the Best Built Project in Greece by DOMES. This impressive villa stands out for its massive walls and the lightweight steel elements that create visual contact between the different levels. Located in a picturesque settlement with sea views, the villa offers 220 m2 indoor spaces split over 3 levels. Master Bedroom with en-suite bathroom is located on the middle level and another 2 double bedrooms with a shared bathroom are located on the ground floor.

Design

Massive stone walls and small windows in the bedrooms introduce us the Maniot heritage. The tall wooden roof and slim windows in the top level fills the living-dining area with light and gives the opportunity to enjoy both sea and mountain views. A balcony outside the kitchen, called liakoto, is ideal for breakfast and offers serene sea views. The large swimming pool in irregular shape in the backyard that sums up villa’s modern character.
