Architecture
l‘anima boutique suites invite to stay in a traditional Greek home overlooking narrow vivid streets of Skiathos. l‘anima features 4 suites, each for 2-4 guests and are 25m2 in size. The entrance to the suites is on the 1st floor, yet the suites are split into 2 levels inside. The main level has a small living area with a dining space, kitchenette and a bathroom with shower. Upper level has loft-style bedroom. 2 of the 4 rooms have sleeping arrangements on the man level, too.
Design
The suites were fully reconstructed and designed for hospitality in 2020. Plywood plays a huge role in design of the suites and is applied from kitchen cabinets to stairs. It merges the different spaces, such as walls and doors but also used to divide them, e.g. separates the whole kitchenette from the daily living space by closing it behind the plywood doors. The loft-style bedroom has wire ropes and visual contact with the remaining suite. The colors are bright and relaxing.
