Mani peninsula, Southern Peloponnese, is rich of authentic 12th century Byzantine churches and small mountain villages. Our villas in Mani are situated between Messianic gulf and Taygetus mountain range, observing endless sea and tranquil mountains. Within short drive from the villas there is a picturesque Kardamili village, famous for its castle, which was the old town and is worth visiting. There are many authentic byzantine churches in nearby mountain villages. It is highly recommended to see the fresco paintings or at least drive through the mountain villages, such as Kastanea, Pyrgos. Further, many local taverns with Mani specialties and unexampled beaches with crystal clear waters are withing short drive. The most famous is Kalogria beach in Stoupa village, it has cold sweet water springs. The beach of Kardamili is called Ritsa and has white pebbles, less busy is Foneas and Kalamitsi, both easy to access.
